After a lifetime of singing in a wide variety of genres and styles, I consider myself to be an eclectic singing artist. I’ve returned to musical theater and cabaret after fronting a roots rock band that had both electric and acoustic incarnations for 10+ years. My original songs tend to lean toward darkly humorous of late, and draw on many influences including jazz, blues, and art song. I created a cycle of art songs based on personal poetry in collaboration with composer Jaroslaw Golembioski, and have collaborated with Ilya Levinson and Justin Bernard Bowse on a number of projects.
